Jenefer Neale MSc. BCBA
Helping families navigate behaviour, regulation, and everyday challenges—especially when support feels limited
Hello! I’m Jenefer
MSc. BCBA, IBA
My work is rooted in understanding how children learn, regulate, and make sense of the world around them—and how we can support that in ways that actually fit real life.
While my training in behaviour analysis gave me a strong evidence-based foundation, it was over two decades of working alongside families, educators, and support teams that shaped how I practice today. I’ve seen that meaningful progress doesn’t come from theory alone—it comes from support that is practical, respectful, and usable in everyday moments.
Being a parent has further deepened my understanding of how complex and emotional this journey can be. Families are balancing hopes, worries, and real-world pressures all at once, and support needs to reflect that.
I bring together clinical expertise, lived experience, and ongoing learning to offer guidance that feels collaborative, grounded, and genuinely useful.
I also share practical parent support and insights through the Sage Sprouts, where I focus on tools and strategies families can actually use day-to-day.
My Approach & Values
I approach my work from the belief that behaviour is communication, and that meaningful change happens within safe relationships and supportive environments.
My practice is grounded in evidence-based behavioural science, while recognizing that children and families are navigating complex emotional, developmental, and systemic realities. I take time to understand the full picture before recommending strategies, and I work collaboratively with families and teams to create support that is practical, respectful, and sustainable in everyday life.
I take a neuroaffirming perspective. My focus is on helping children build skills, confidence, and connection—not on making them appear “typical.” The goal is to support each child in participating more comfortably and successfully in their world, in a way that feels right for them.
I value transparency, compassion, and curiosity in my work. The most effective support happens when families feel heard, informed, and empowered.
