Jenefer Neale MSc. BCBA
Helping families move forward with clarity, calm, and practical support
Hello! I’m Jenefer
MSc. BCBA, IBA
My path into this work grew from a longstanding curiosity about how children learn, regulate, and make sense of the world around them. My formal training in behaviour analysis gave me a strong evidence-based foundation, but it was working alongside families, educators, and support teams that truly shaped how I practise. Over time, I saw that real progress happens when support is practical, respectful, and grounded in everyday life — not just theory.
Alongside my professional work, being a parent has deepened my understanding of how complex and emotional this journey can be. I know families are balancing hopes, worries, and real-world pressures all at once. Today I bring together clinical expertise, ongoing learning, and lived experience to offer support that feels collaborative, compassionate, and genuinely useful.
I also share practical parent guidance through the Sage Sprouts resource space.
My Approach & Values
I approach my work from the belief that behaviour is communication and that meaningful change happens in the context of safe relationships and supportive environments. My practice is grounded in evidence-based behavioural science, while also recognizing that children and families are navigating complex emotional, developmental, and systemic realities. I aim to understand the whole picture before recommending strategies, and I work collaboratively with families and teams to create supports that are practical, respectful, and sustainable.
I take a neuroaffirming perspective, which means I focus on helping children build skills, confidence, and connection rather than trying to make them appear “typical.” My goal is not to change who a child is, but to help them participate more comfortably and successfully in their world. I value transparency, compassion, and curiosity in my work, and I believe the most effective support happens when families feel heard, informed, and empowered.
